The new Beef Queensland Processing Industry website exploring a world of opportunities for students

Gateway to Industry Schools host Queensland Manufacturing Institute (QMI) recently led a project in partnership with The Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning and industry partners in creating a new industry website, highlighting the diverse and exciting career opportunities within the QLD Beef Processing industry.

The website includes an incredible library of ready to use industry-supplied resources for STEAM school teachers to use in class. The collection of resources aim to educate and broaden the understanding among students in relation to how vast the career opportunities are in the QLD  beef processing industry.

Resources includes:

• Guides and lessons exploring career opportunities, industry technologies, and a fun curriculum for students from Foundation to Year 12.

• Videos that showcase career opportunities and insightful industry facts.

• State and national reports and strategies showing industry success and future developments.

• Work placement and graduate program opportunities offered by Queensland beef processors.

• Training and skill development opportunities available in the Queensland beef processing industry.

• Certificate and University pathways into the beef processing industry available in Queensland.
