The problem
“Ever play sport outside when it is raining? Wet shoes can cause blister and are heavier so they make it harder to run.”
Solution
The team created a waterproof shoe that will prevented water getting inside. The product is design ideated in Dalby by a group of enthusiastic students.

Comfortable — The inside of the shoes are double reinforced so it will be more comfortable.
Support — Created with 3 carbon fibre plates and in-between the plates are air bubbles. More of a spring in the step and increases sprinting by 4%.
Market validation
They spoke to a NRL player and he said he would love to try the new waterproof football boots as he has experienced this problem many times throughout his football career.
Next steps
The team plans to finalise the prototype, test the product with potential customers and go to market.
