Advanced manufacturers highlight their connection to STEAM learning

During Inside Advanced Manufacturing (IAM) week, 20 advanced manufacturers will demonstrate their application of advanced manufacturing techniques and technologies to fellow manufacturers and industry stakeholders.

This supports the Queensland governments 10-year plan to increase the adoption of leading-edge design, innovation, technologies, processes and practices.

To highlight the important connections that Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) has with industry, we teamed up three of the IAM advanced manufacturers to offer student tours.

Learn more about the tours to advanced manufacturers iOrthotics, Protonautics and Visy in these videos.

Thank you to our industry partners and the Department of State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning (DSDMIP) for supporting GISP, and helping us to demonstrate the diversity of advanced manufacturing operations and career opportunities in Queensland.
